It’s not every day that Wendy Williams serves you Christmas dinner. More than 200 children and parents from New Community attended a holiday party at St. Joseph Plaza hosted by Williams’ charity called the Hunter Foundation, for a memorable evening of holiday merriment.

The guests of honor were families from Harmony House, a transitional housing facility for homeless families, and both Community Hills and Harmony House early learning centers.

“I’m so glad to be here with you,” Williams said, upon making her surprise entrance at St. Joseph Plaza.

Williams, who is best known for hosting her namesake talk show “The Wendy Williams Show,” is married to Kevin Hunter. The couple’s charity, the Hunter Foundation, hosted similar holiday events in several locations across New York and New Jersey. They were joined by their son Lil Kev, and served a holiday dinner to more than 200 residents.

The evening festivities featured a visit from Santa Claus; gifts for children and parents; musical, dance and step performances; and music all night by deejay duo Amira and Kayla. Whole Foods Market also donated to the event.

New Community thanks the Hunter Foundation for its generosity this Christmas season!
