Wormack, in photo on left, holds her book and stands next to Community Hills Director Tawanna Brown, left, and three students. The founder of an independent publishing firm called House of the Guilded Scribe, Wormack was born in Newark, graduated high school in East Orange and later earned her bachelor’s degree in English and her master’s degree in Public Administration. She spent the afternoon at Community Hills, signing copies of books purchased by staff and parents.
