Eleven-year-old Alexandra Amoah (left) recently got her eyes checked, as did 85-year-old Edna Solomon (right), at the New Community Family Resource Success Center, which is located in the Pathmark Shopping Center at 131-185 Bergen St. in Newark. Free eye exams are offered at the Family Resource Success Center on the fourth Wednesday of each month, courtesy of the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
