New Community Director of Nursing, Veronica Onwunaka, believes that in order for nurses to play a role in advancing the healthcare field, they must be equipped with education. To that end, Onwunaka promotes continuing education as a priority among her staff at the New Community Extended Care Center, a 180-bed skills nursing facility on South Orange Avenue in Newark.
