The COVID-19 pandemic may have closed buildings, but that didn’t stop staff members from Community Hills Early Learning Center (CHELC) and Harmony House Early Learning Center (HHELC) from staying connected to families and students. Children continued learning through virtual means and the centers distributed ShopRite gift cards provided by Newark Public Schools to families.
