NCC Auto Trainees Visit BMW

As a committed partner in New Community Workforce Development Center’s Automotive Technician Employment and Training Program, BMW welcomed NCC trainees to its facility in Woodcliff Lake, where the headquarters of BMW of North America is located, to discuss future job opportunities with the company. Dressed in their black t-shirt uniforms, NCC trainees and Workforce staff got a close up look at vehicles in the shop, met with BMW representatives and toured the facilities. The trainees receive job placement assistance from NCC Workforce staff as they complete the 1,200-hour training course, which is held at 210 West Bigelow Street in Newark.

NCC automotive trainees inspected a vehicle undergoing repair at the BMW shop. In addition to BMW, NCC partners with other automakers, such as Ford, and local employers, to place trainees in internships as part of the Automotive Technician Employment and Training Program.
